General Conference Summary October 2024 Covenants empower you to reach your full potential. Devote time to increase your understanding of the Atonement. Ponder how God has relentlessly pursued us. Align with the will of the Lord and follow Him. Nourish your testimony with great care. Repent, come unto Him, and feel His love. Invite the Spirit as your personal teacher and follow its promptings. Live the gospel and study His word. Every sincere seeker of Jesus Christ will find Him in the temple. Repentance is joy! Let God be the most powerful influence in your life. Faith is strong when rooted in Christ. We cannot focus on Christ if we only see ourselves. Joy is linked with living the gospel. Stop looking for reasons to divide. Seek opportunities to be one. Avoid self-loathing and self-condemnation. Engaged in family history and spend more time in the temple. You're not beneath God's reach. Commit yourself more fully to the Savior. Don't let the world change you when you were born to change the world. Actively defend the prophet and follow his counsel. Obedience leads to spiritual discernment and growth. Through obedience and diligence we may gain knowledge and intelligence. Infuse holiness into daily living. Invite all to receive the gospel. Nothing can darken hope when we hold tightly to our covenants. Let go of doubtful and fearful thoughts. Focus on Him. Exercise faith in Him to overcome your challenges. Live up to your divine potential. Repentance is essential for our spiritual development. Service avoids spiritual apathy. Prepare for the Second Coming. Make discipleship your highest priority. Mortality works! Rise up! We aren't destined to fail. God will meet you where you are and will help you. Don't wait for things to get hard before turning to God. If ye love me, love one another. Reach out in compassion to care for those in need. Rededicate your lives to Christ. Testify of Him. Help gather scattered Israel. Don't "dumb down" Christ or His doctrine. Strengthen your covenant connection with God. God loves us as we are, wherever we are, and never runs dry. Be in awe at the good news Christ! Wait upon the Lord when we don't understand and bear with patience. Avoid worldly distractions and focus on Christ. Christ's atonement assures a hope of eternal life. Avoid the spiritual poison of pride. It's never too early or late to become a devout disciple. Keep the temple at the center of our devotion. Let your divine identity affect your decisions. The First Vision began the Restoration. The best is yet to come. Christ is coming again! Don't underestimate the significance of scriptures. Simplify teaching and avoid false doctrine. Murmur less. Upholding the word of the Lord, His ways, and His prophet. Christ will help us in our trials. Learn the difference between what is and isn't eternal. Submitting to God's will requires faith and magnifies agency. Let Christ be the root of your testimony. Right and wrong are not for us to define. God imparts His word according to our effort and devotion. Covenants sets us apart and accesses blessings and our birthright. Forgo harsh and hurtful words. Be peacemakers, but don't compromise your principles. Live so others see Christ through us.
